Good Medtech products don't pop out in 1 day. They require a long chain of steps involving conceptualisation, value engineering, feasibility studies, prototyping and testing. We engage in concept development with our customers. We prefer early stage involvement in the process, so we can add value with our expertise in Design for Manufacturing (DfM). Except for B2B concept development, we also work on multi-party R&D projects with academic institutions. The latest example of this is Scan2Go, a project in which we develop a patient positioning chair for an autonomous MRI system.

Product design in medical technology - design for the optimal combination of aesthetics and functionality. For product design, we often collaborate with the contractor or a specialised design house. In the design phase, we contribute to the design in terms of manufacturability, mechanical properties, serviceability and user friendliness. Specific elements like UI design we leave to the experts, while we take care that all third party supplied designs are well integrated.

Engineering is the backbone of our company. Every product we handle is the result of engineering work. We have a skilled engineering team that combines all disciplines that are required for mechatronics. We talk the language of your product developers and engineers, making it easy to transfer your ideas to our assembly floor.

Producing medical equipment requires a solid supply chain. Inno Mechatronics has a strong network of suppliers with a focus on the medical sector. Eindhoven is a region with a high density of high tech manufacturing, providing a strong ecosystem. We invested substantially in internal hardware and processes to cope with the complex requirements of mechatronics manufacturing. These are high value aspects of our service to OEMs.

Prototype & small batch production; we support you in each step of your product realisation. Prototyping is key to optimising your product before mass production. By carrying out the prototying process together with our customers, we gain deep knowledge of the product, and can assist optimising it for mass production. Part of the prototyping phase is also the testing. Functional tests and endurance tests prove functionality and durability.

An important aspect of capital goods is that they require repair and maintenance, so their lifecycle can be optimised. We provide lifecycle management of your product with a guaranteed availability of parts and services.
